Get started with VIMpay in 4 steps
Set up the app: Download the VIMpay app to your smartphone and create a user account.
Problem with the SMS code? If you do not receive the confirmation code within 24 hours, please contact VIMpay support directly via the in-app chat.
Link your bank account: Connect your regular checking account in the app to transfer money. Since this is a prepaid system, you do not need your own credit card and you set your limit by topping up yourself.
Transfer funds to VIMpay: After successfully linking your account, you can easily and quickly top up your virtual credit card in just a few steps.
Find card details & connect PAGO: Open the VIMpay app and tap on the PAGOPACE card (your ring) on the home screen. Important: Do not use the regular main card. Your card number will be displayed here. Swipe left or right to view the CVC number and PIN. Enter these details in the PAGOPACE app.

Important note for customers from Austria 🇦🇹
In the free standard version ("Lite"), VIMpay only accepts German IBANs due to system limitations. Use this quick workaround:
Register with VIMpay without immediately providing your bank account.
Perform the one-time upgrade from "Lite" to "Basic" in the VIMpay app (cost: one-time fee of €10).
Afterward, you can add your Austrian IBAN and make your first top-up.
