Official Certification: The PAGO is certified by both VISA and MasterCard, thus meeting the same strict security requirements as a modern credit card.
PIN Protection: For amounts from 50 Euros, entering your PIN at the terminal is mandatory to secure the payment.
Protection against accidental payments:
Short Range: A connection to the payment terminal is only established within a maximum distance of 3 cm.
Targeted Hand Position: Accidental payments while passing by are excluded, as the transaction can only be triggered in a very specific hand position.
